Ugh, where to begin. Alright, pros and cons, I think there's more pros than cons. One, the price is an obvious one. It will cost less than both the PS3 and the 360. And correct me if I'm wrong, it's slated for a later release as well, good because it gives people time to earn more money after buying either of the first two systems. Furthermore, the controllers are SWEEEEEET. At first I disliked them, but reading into it they got some money stuff. The controllers, that look like remotes, have built-in sensors that allow the player to use them as swords, guns, etc while playing. That means no more peripheral sales, thank God (or at least decreased). It also means getting gamers more actively into games, perhaps defeating the minor recession games had been facing. As for the cons, the system will not be HD-compattible, because "not enough homes have HD televisions yet." This means that the graphics will lack behind the 360 and the PS3, and that it won't be until the next generation that Nintendo will give us some HD games, making us wait about 5 more years. The most glaring con, however, is the name. Wii? What the hell is that? The Revolution was soo much cooler. It was giving spunk, character, and maturity to Nintendo, a long overdue break from the stereotypical Mario and Luigi games. Why they turned their back on the Revolution I do not know.
All in all, the Wii looks pretty damn fun. The controller makes up for the lack of high-definition, and the price makes up for the name. I will probably pick this up after I get my PS3, depending on what games I can get for it. I'm expecting great things.

The Wii indeed looks very unique. I like the controller for it also. The only thing that's gonna leave people behind it is the graphics are't much improved from the Gamecube

PS3 absolutely, but given the circumstances, I don't think many people will have to chose, as they can get both. Chosing between the 360 and the PS3, well there you might have a money check.

Why's the name so bad? It's quite smart, read about there philosophy and you'll see why "Wii" is a good name. wii.nintendo.com/philosophy.html If you think about it, Playstation is a bad name. Come on, Play- station, okay a station that you play on. The creators sure put a lot of thinking into the name huh? And the same goes for the Gamecube. Has the name of any of the other consoles made a failure in sales? I don't think so. I don't really care for graphics, it's the gameplay that is the core of the game. Plus, the graphics aren't going to be that bad. Anyways, I think the Wii will be pretty good in sales and all when it comes out, or at least I hope so.

Every once in a while I run across a Corina Darlin good timberland boots article... so I decided that, since 'Abbys Good Stuff' was using so little of the discount timberland boots web space that I already paid for, that I'd use up some of that space and grab some of the best cheap timberland boots articles I read and reprint them here. This is a new thing, but it will grow. The timberland mens boots articles and editorials I choose will be on a wide variety of subjects - the only thing they will have in common is that I liked them when I read womens timberland boots them and somehow got permission to reprint them here to share with you. I'll try to add at least one new one every week, and of course you can send a timberland outlet suggestion if you have, or know of, a good article that I could add.
